Mission Vanuatu is a mission effort overseen by the Columbine church of Christ in Denver, Colorado. The team is made up of five Christians who desire to fulfill the Great Commission in the South Pacific island country of Vanuatu. They have made an initial commitment to serve in the country for five years. The team moved to the capital city of Port Vila in April 2005. With the Lord's help, they are striving to:

• Glorify God through fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)
• Learn the Bislama language in order to effectively communicate with the ni-Vanuatu. In addition, they plan to gain an appropriate understanding of Vanuatu's rich culture and custom.
• While working regularly with the three congregations on the main island of Efate, focus on the evangelism of the entire country. The local brethren will be included in these efforts as much as possible. The Bible Correspondence Course method has proven to be very effective throughout the Pacific region, and is certainly a very economical way of encountering prospects. The team also records a weekly radio program that is broadcast throughout the entire country.
• Use the indigenous method with regard to establishing new congregations throughout the country. While small financial contributions will be made occasionally, we will strive to keep the churches in Vanuatu independent of ongoing foreign support.
• Implement and successfully complete three stages in each work: evangelism, edificiation and equipping - the model of the apostle Paul.
• Establish a Bible school in the capital city to help train and equip Christians to live productive spiritual lives.
